Announcing the 2018 Forever Grateful Homebrew Comp. This year the event will be an official Charleston Beer Week Event! Registration is now open. You may enter any style except sour, alternative fermentable, mead, or cider. Please submit you entries to Oak Road Brewery c/o Forever Grateful. You can also drop off entries at Yeast, Everything Homebrew in Mt Pleasant or Beer Engineer Supply in North Charleston. Entries are $5 and you must submit 2 12 ounce bottles per entry. Fees and entries are due by September 2, 2018. Winners will be announced on Friday September 14 at 6 pm at Oak Road Brewery. Join us on September 14 for winner announcements and the release of this years beer. First Place Winner will have a chance to brew there beer at Oak Road Brewery. A portion of the funds raised from this event will go to HF No Kill Shelter of Summerville SC. See you there.

Rules For This Competition
|
- Entries can be hand carried and dropped off at shipping location(s) specified below
- Entries must be shipped to shipping location(s) specified below
- Pre-registered entries can be hand carried to competition by out of town judges and stewards
- No entries accepted on day of competition
- Competition will be judged according to the 2008 BJCP guidelines
- 2 - 12oz bottles for each entry
- 3 - 12oz bottles for each entry
- 4 - 12oz bottles for each entry
- Bottles should be free from identifying marks such as raised lettering on the bottle
- Bottle caps must be free of writing or label. If cap has writing or label, it should be blacked out by a black marker prior to entry
- Judges and Stewards will earn BJCP experience points.
- Bottle labels should be securely affixed with a rubber band.
- Entries can be hand carried and dropped off at one of the drop off location(s) specified below
